Access the Logistics Price System Price Manager (PM)

1. Operation Scenario

Use this guide when you need to open the Price Manager (PM) page from GWMS and maintain logistics price settings for a customer account.

PM is used for carrier-related price configuration, such as fuel, base charge, surcharge, price groups, users, account settings, and bills. GWMS provides the entry from GWMS-Logistics Management-Logistics Billing Management.

2. Prerequisites

• You have permission to access GWMS-Logistics Management-Logistics Billing Management.
• The customer already has a PM account in the list.
• Your browser allows the PM page to open after you click a carrier configuration entry.

3. Open Logistics Billing Management

1. Go to GWMS-Logistics Management-Logistics Billing Management.
2. Use Customer Code to search for the customer if the list has many records.
3. In the customer row, check the PM account column. This account is the PM user that will be opened.
4. In Actions, click the carrier entry you need to configure, such as Configure FedEx, Configure UPS, Configure USPS, Configure GLS, or Configure Fimile.

4. Check the PM User Setting Page

After you click a carrier configuration entry, the system opens the PM user setting page for the selected PM account. Confirm the account shown in the page title before changing any price settings.

On the PM page, use the top navigation and the left category menu to switch between price configuration areas. For example, when Base Charge is selected, the left side shows surcharge-related categories such as Base Charge & Normal Surcharge, Peak Surcharge, Peak Residential Delivery Charge, and Extra Peak Surcharge.

5. Result

When the PM page opens and the page title shows the expected PM account, the access step is complete. You can continue maintaining carrier prices, surcharge rules, or related account settings in PM based on your business requirement.

6. Notes

• If the wrong PM account is displayed, return to GWMS and open the carrier configuration entry from the correct customer row.
• The carrier entries in GWMS open the PM account page. The actual price rule maintenance is completed in PM.
• If the PM page does not open, check whether the browser blocked the new page or whether your account has permission to access PM.

Q1: Why is there more than one carrier configuration entry in the Actions column?

A1: Each entry opens PM for a different carrier configuration path. Choose the carrier you need to maintain, such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, GLS, or Fimile.

Q2: What should I check before editing prices in PM?

A2: Check the PM account shown in the PM page title first. If it does not match the customer row you selected in GWMS, go back and open the correct row again.
